FANG-YU HU
Nasce e studia a Taipei (Taiwan), dal 2002 continua il suo percorso di studi a Parigi dove oggi lavora come urban designer/planner. Lavorando su progetti in scale differenti, fa esperienza delle potenzialità del design 'dal cucchiaio alla città'.
Ha la passione per le diverse culture nel mondo, le interessa osservare la relazione tra gli usi e costumi e il cibo e ripensare un nuovo modo per servirlo nei nostri giorni. Uno dei suoi progetti sul cibo, La mela di Adamo ed Eva, nasce proprio da questo concetto.
Il cibo può inoltre essere un modo per comunicare, condividere, esprimere, divertire, soddisfare, scambiare, ricordare, ... potrebbe essere considerato una lingua senza parole.
Un altro dei suoi progetti sul cibo, Torte di Cannibalismo, nasce per essere messaggero di desideri.
Punta sempre a fare progetti deliziosi e porta gioia condendola con idee un po' pazzerelle e dispettose.

Born and studied in Taipei (Taiwan), Fang-Yu Hu continued her further studies in Paris since 2002 and now works as urban designer/planner in Paris. By working on projects in different scales, she experiences the power of design, so-called 'from spoon to the city'.
Having a passion for discovering different cultures in the world, she is used to observing the relation between customs and food, and to rethink a new way to serve it in our days. One of her food projects, Apple of Adam and Eve, is created by this concept. Moreover, food could be a way of communicating, sharing, expressing, amusing, satisfying, exchanging, commemorating.... It could be considered as a language without word. Another of her food projects, Cakes of Cannibalism, is created to be a messenger of wishes.
She always tries to make her projects delicious and bring happiness all around by seasoning with a little bit wild and naughty ideas.
