VALERIA FLAMMINI - SARA MAGNONE
Valeria Flammini nasce nel 1981 a Porto San Giorgio, un piccolo paese sulla costa marchigiana. Sara Magnone nasce a Varallo Sesia nel 1982, vive sul lago Maggiore, a Verbania. Si incontrano frequentando il corso di Interior Design al Politecnico di Milano.
Nel 2006 come ospiti al corso "Corpi arredativi" di Alessandro Guerriero presso il Politecnico di Milano presentano la performance Abito: primo interno esterno al corpo. Indagando sui punti di contatto tra moda e architettura, urbanistica e letteratura, design e arte, si sviluppano i loro progetti che si svincolano da qualsiasi formalismo strutturale, acquisendo molto spesso una forte componente teatrale. Raccontano con estrema ironia e intelligenza di un design sensoriale ai confini della realtà.

Valeria Flammini was born in 1981 in Porto San Giorgio, a small town on the coast of Marche, in Central Italy. Sara Magnone was born in 1982 in Varallo Sesia, Varese, in the Region of Piedmont, in North-Western Italy. She now lives in Verbania, on Lake Maggiore.
They both were enrolled in the Interior Design Course at the Politecnico University of Milan, where they met. In 2006 they were guest lecturers at the “Furnishing Items” course, held by the famous designer Alessandro Guerriero at the Politecnico University of Milan. They spoke about, Clothes: the first intern, exterior to the body. Their projects are far from the conventional structure. Instead, they have a strong scenic component, playing with fashion and architecture, city planning and literature, design and art.
